Dear Ken,

I am a boat designer and was recently awarded a patent on a planing hull concept that dramatically reduces drag. A concept boat was designed and a model built and tested to verify the concept. See Oct/Nov 2008 issue of Professional Boatbuilder Rivings section pg 19/20 for summary.

I am designing an 18' power skiff similar to the Simmons sea-skiff above the LWL, entering a contest, considering building a prototype and offerting boats for sale.

Interested in discussing an alliance where your company would build these boats similar to the J Boat program.

My office is in Richmond, but I have a house in Bath, NC. It is possible that the state would assist in development costs.

I will be traveling to Bath tomorrow, Friday 7 Nov and if you have any interest I would enjoy dropping by . My cell phone number is . I will call you when I get close to see if we should meet.

Best regards, Jerry Burkett

hi, I have heard you have some sst 120 or champ boats for sale? I am interested in a glass or kevlar boat, which should be competitive. Will use it in the european F2000, so cockpit must be proofed by U.I.M. Airbag system would be nice. Crash boxes will be done in Sweden.
Would be nice to hear from you,
kind regards from Denmark,
Holger

I'm starting a boat building business and have designed an 19' center console catamaran. The design includes drawings for the hull as well as the liner. These drawings are fairly detailed but we have no naval architect experience, and therefore need to know how the boat will ride and handle in the water. The design was done on the FreeShip free software that can be downloaded at this site http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=140466 . The design can also be exported to other files which might be easier for you, these are listed in the attachment.

We want the layout and the aesthetics of the boat to resemble our design, but we need someone to test the "hydrostatic" properties of the hull.

We'd like a ballpark price quote for
1) testing and modifying our design to ensure boat performance.
2) to convert or modify the design to a format compatible with a CNC plug builder.

Please let me know if this is something that you could do.

Thank you
George Stronach
